    The Spanish Inquisition

    King Ferdinand of Spain and his wife Queen Isabella issued the eradication of all other religions other than Christianity.

    Spanish colonisation of North American

    The Spanish arrive on the soil of what is later to be called North America, the expedition is led by Christopher Columbus who was backed by Queen Isabella I and her court, thinking they could spread Christian influence there too. Columbus mistreats the Indians and brings some back to be slaves in Spain.

    Roman Catholic nobles kill French Huguenots to prevent their growing influence. Approved by Catherine de Medicis, mother of King Charles the IX, a period of bloodshed and religious hate started in Paris and Spain.
