  • Albany Plan

  • Stamp Act

    It was placed by the British Parliament. This act was for all American Colonist which required them to pay tax on any type of paper.
  • Boston Massacre

    British army soldiers shot and killed people while under attack by a mob.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The British added tax to tea. All the American Colonist were angry and they dumped out all the boxes of tea off the boat into the ocean.
  • First Continental Congress

    A meeting between people from 12 of the 13 colonies. This took place from September 5th to October 26th. They organized the colonial resistance to Parliament's Coercive Acts.
  • Intolerable Acts

    They were passed by the British Parliament in reaction the Boston Tea Party. This included the closure of the port of Boston, a British government in Massachusetts, obligatory quartering of British troops and the right of royal officials to be tried in England.
