    A Prussian prince was possibly going to be part of the Spain throne and France thought it was an encirclement which caused an immediate reaction to war.
  • The New Emperor

    Wilhelm II became the new Emperor in Germany. Since he got into the throne he had made everything much more aggressive.
  • Russo-Japanese War

    The Russian Empire and Japanese Empire got into a war due to both Empires disagreeing on which one would take Manchuria and Korea
  • Entente Cordiale

    Entente Cordiale
    The British and France made peace with one another and had ended many fights and disputes that were happening between them.
  • The First Moroccan Crisis

    On this day Morocco had no longer wanted to be involved with France and wanted to reclaim their independence. Germany had wanted to support Morocco but fortunately France and Germany were able to work things out with Morocco.

    There was several problems when Austria-Hungary decided to annex the territories of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These problems were caused by Turkey and they had even threatened war on them.

    During this time Italy, the Ottoman Empire went to war with Turkey. Turkey had won the war and it showed how badly trained their military was.
  • Balkan Wars

    Serbia, Greece, Montenegro and Bulgaria formed some sort of alliance that was known to be the Balkan League. All of these countries came together to take down the Ottoman Empire.

    The archduke of Austria, Franz Ferdinand his wife were both assassinated by the nationalist in Sarajevo named Bosnian Serb.
