Narmer
Narmer was a Pharaoh of Egypt, as the first of the dynasty. He reigned in 3150 BC. Probably, he had a long reign between 30 and 40 years, he died for the attack in a fight against a hippopotamus. -

The Giza sphinx
The Giza sphinx is a figure with a person's face and a lion's body, a short distance from the pyramid of Khefren in Giza. It is known as the Great Sphinx and is the first example of a monumental statue in Egypt. The name was given by the Greeks. There are many sphinxes in Egypt but that of Giza is the sphinx by antonomasia. -

MIDDLE KINGDOM
The Middle Kingdom began with the reunification of Egypt by Pharaoh Mentuhotep II, in the middle of the XI dynasty, ending the first intermediate period of Egypt. -
Period: 1580 BCE to 1100 BCE
NEW KINGDOM
The New Kingdom is known as the historical period beginning with the reunification of Egypt under Amosis beginning in (c.1580 BC) and ending around 1100 BC. C, with the arrival to the throne of the sovereigns of Libyan origin. It is formed by the XVIII, XIX and XX dynasties. It passes between the second intermediate period and the third intermediate period of Egypt. -
Period: 1100 BCE to 31 BCE
FOREIGN RULE
The foreign domination of the Hyksos during the second intermediate period, the New Kingdom Empire saw it necessary to conquer the territory near the eastern border to be protected before possible invasions, the Egyptian armies fought against the armies.
