A Rotary Phone was the name of this 1900 's phone . it was called called this because of the round dial in the center of the phone. -
1910´s phone
The 1910s phones were more straight and had the micorphone at the top of it . It also had a piece in a shape on a can that was the ear piece. -
1920s
This 1920s phone upgraded to a key pad , the phone is in a slant boxy shape with a phone holder that holds the phone at the top. -
1930
This phone is similar to the 1920s but with a dial , you rotate a circle like shape to enter the number your trying dial. -
1940
You no longer need to plug up your phone anymore , you can travel around with the phone , its box shape phone with an key pad and a antler at the top to get service in order to call people. -
1950
The phone was called a princess phone and it was design to be used in a bedroom , it had a this square-ish shape and had to be plugged up in a wall. -
1960
The phone was the same as the 30s but upgraded with being able to call people from further away. -

This phone also had to be plugged up in order to call people but it had more of a curve shape and has a key pad -

this phone that came out in the 80s was a really big thing when it first came out . it had a key pad with 12 keys instead of 10 using the "*¨ and ¨#¨ symbol
