  • S Café Fabric. The main aim of the project is to reuse coffee beans as they have numerous microscopic pores, which create a long-lasting natural and chemical free shield for yarn, reflecting UV rays and provide a comfortable outdoor experience.

    S Café Fabric. The main aim of the project is to reuse coffee beans as they have numerous microscopic pores, which create a long-lasting natural and chemical free shield for yarn, reflecting UV rays and provide a comfortable outdoor experience.
    It was started by Jason Chen and Amy Lai. The major deliverable is it reuses coffee grounds to produce bio-nylon fabrics. These bio-based materials replace more than 25% petroleum consumption during production and offer a better wearing experience. The main feature of this fabric is of odour control, water resistant and provides a breathable clothing.

    This remarkably unique office is designed by Architect Christopher Benninger. The project is unique as Suzlon Energy Limited decided along with the architect to build India's greenest office. The project was temporary that the building was constructed in the form of a Land Scraper, in opposition to a Skyscraper idea.
    The design aim was to make a great place to work to bring all business verticals and corporate services under one roof.

  • China’s Guangzhou Bus Rapid Transit Network

    China’s Guangzhou Bus Rapid Transit Network
    The project was executed by Xiaomei Duan and Karl Fjellstrom to achieve metro-replacement levels of passenger capacity and throughput. Its first line was put into operation on 10 February 2010. The project is unique and this rapid transit system contains the world's longest BRT stations with bus volumes of 1 bus every 10 seconds or 350 per hour in a single direction.     The project was executed by Agarwal & Agarwal Architects. The project is unique as the building features and environmental specifications have been certified as the world’s 7th Platinum level by the U.S. Green Building Council. The project aimed to build an environmentally sustainable building that would shift the attitude of urban dwellers and investors about being satisfied with the existing method of construction.

  • Smog Free Tower. The designer's aim is to create pockets of clean air in cities that suffer from hazardous levels of pollution, in the hope that this will lead to entire urban areas becoming smog free.

    This project was started by Daan Roosegaarde along with his team in 2015. The major deliverable was to clean air. This was done by making a smog vacuum cleaner which provides smog free air in public spaces allowing people to breathe clean air. It is an environment friendly technology which cleans 30,000 m3 per hour.

    Thye project was executed by Selene SpA (IT), LUCENSE SCpA (IT), Serv.eco (IT), and Zero Waste Europe Stichting (NL). The project is unique and innovative model that can be established in the industries in same locality by the collaboration with the paper and plastic sector. LIFE ECO-PULPLAST is a project used to remove certain materials, which cannot be reused from the recovered waste paper.

    In a positive step towards curbing air pollution, India's first commercial Liquified Compressed natural gas (LNG) bus was launched in Kochi.
    Created by Petronet, the bus fitted with a 180 kg cryogenic tank, the bus can travel up to 900 km in a single filling.
