The first people started arriving into Hanauma.They brought tropical fruits like Guava,Passion Fruit,Mango,and many other fruits. -
Gold!
Emma T found bits of gold while she was digging a hole for a well.They named that well la bein de l'or which means The well of Gold.This discovery of gold started a gold rush,in this period of 3 months 500 people moved to Hanauma. -
Law of Care
Hanauma passed a law that anybody on the island is not aloud to harm or kill any plant or animal.They created this law because they wanted to keep all natrual life safe and sound. -
The Cave with Fish
While scubadiving in the waters of Hanauma Lindsay M found a cave,she went inside the cave and discovered about 10 new species of fish.Since Hanauma had passed the Care law every month a group of scuba divers went inside the cave and checked on the fishes. -
Solar Powered boat
Louie M found a way to make a boat that runs on Solar Power and Gasoline.This helped by not polluting the island.This was one of best inventions on Hanauma. -
A rebublic
The people of Hanauma decided that hey wanted to become a republic island.So all the people of Hanauma got together and voted for a representive that they thought would be able to talk and represent them well.The Representitive was Chris Taylor. -
Tsunami
A Tsunami crashed onto Hama Beach,It destroyed the whole beach.All the people joined together and they helped restore houses and they cleaned the beach up.This Tsunami united all the people of Hanauma. -
Tourism
Alot of people started to come and visit Hanauma they loved the culture.beauty,and climate.All theese people lead to busisness in Hanauma.Hanauma had become a tourist spot!
