  • Siege of Bexar

    Texians captured San Antonio, making the mexican forces retreat. This caused for all Mexican authorities to vacate the area.
  • "The Letter"

  • Convention of 1836

    The Delegates met and adopted a constitution.
  • Consultation of 1835

  • The Yellow Rose

  • Lamar becomes president

    Mirabeau B. Lamar started a change in policies which lead to a more aggressive approach towards expansion.
  • House Fight

    The meeting between Texians and Comanche leaders, this turned into a quarrel, and lead to increased tensions.

    Mexican forces capture San Antonio.
  • Annexation!
