Effect: Blitzkrieg tactics again proved devastatingly effective. By late May British and French forces were trapped in a large pocket of Northern France. -

Cause: Japan attacked America hoping they would frighten the U.S into staying neutral.
Effect: America is now in the war and declared war on Japan. -

Cause: Hitler wanted the land of Germany they lost in WW|. He wanted to conquer Soviet territory.
Effect: Germans lost again and they didn't get the land for German living. -

Cause: America has now joined the war and President Truman wanted to end the war and save the lives of American soldiers.
Effect: The first bomb shortened the war and prevented the further killing of hundreds and thousands. -
America drops bomb on Nagasaki
Cause: The first bomb dropped on Hiroshima was very deadly, but Japan still didn't surrender. The U.S decided to drop another bomb because if they didn't more innocent lives would have died.
Effect: Millions of lives were killed and after the bombs were dropped Japan decided to surrender. -
Japan Formally Surrenders
Cause: The two bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki changed the mindset of the Japanese, and towns were destroyed.
Effect: Japan is out of the war and the world war is finally over.
