    Clack and 30 members left from Illinois and met other people coming for the trip. After going down and around they had a successful trip and celebrated.

    This War was hard and long for Mexico to get there Independence back from Spain. The War was 11 years long, they gain there Independence back in 1821.

    The first major battle of the U.S.-Mexican War. War was officially declared by U.S. Congress on May 13. The United States Congress declared war on Mexico after a request from the President, then, on May 26, 1848, both sides ratified the peace treaty that ended the conflict.
