Magna Carta
This was a document constituting a fundamental guarantee of rights and privileges. -
French and Indian War
The war was between the colonies of Britain and French. Who fought over who got the land. French wasn't strong enough so they needed to get help with the Indians. Britain and French fought but at the end they were broke because of the war. -
Proclamation
The purpose of this was to maintain good relations between the British and the Native Americans. -
Sugar Act
It was taxing from the British Governement to the American Colonist to refine the import of sugar. The Bitish did this so that they can get more money. -
Stamp Act
It was a tax from the British to the American Colonist that the tax was on anything that was on paper. Like newspaper and documents. -
Quartering Act
This Act was so that the British soldiers can go into peoples home and the perople had to take care of them and provide them for what they need. -
Formation of the Sons of Liberty
The orgainzation that was created by the American colonist. It was created to form a way to protect the rights of the colonist and to fight taxing that the British Government was setting. -
Declaratory Act
This was an Act to repeal the Stamp Act and to change and lessen the Sugar Act that the British had put on for the American Colonist. -
Townsherd Act
These were a series of acts passed by the British Government to the American Colonist. -
Boston Massacre
This was a small firght between the Amrican Coloinst and the British soldiers. The American Colonist were picking on the soldiers and so when the soldiers had enough they shot five people. -
Tea Act
This was the final staw for the American Colonist with the taxing. The American Colonist drank a lot of tea and so when the British taxed it, the American Colonist had enough. -
Boston Tea Party
This is where the American Colonist dressed like Indians and tossed a lot of tea over board. So when Britian found out they decide to make the American Colonist pay for it back and stop the importing and exporting. -
Coercive Act
This was a series of four acts established by the British government because of the Boston Tea Party. These four acts are The Boston Port Act, The Massachusetts Government Act, The Administration of Justice Act, and the The Quartering Act. -
1st Continental Congress
12 out of 13 colonist met at Carpenters' Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to discuss the taxing that wasn't representation from the British Government. -
Shot Heard from Around the World
This refers to the first shot of the American Revolutionary War. It was called this because "The sun never set on the British Empire." so when the American Colonist fought with Britian it was a huge impact. Everyone heard about it. -
2nd Continental Congress
This was set so that the American Colonist can have their independence from Britain. To form everything they they might need for the new government that the American Colonist created. -
Bunker Hill
First off it wasn't Bunker Hill is was Breed's Hill. American coloinst fought the Birtish on top of the Hill and shot down a lot of British soldiers and would have stayed up there longer if they hadn't ran out of ammunition. -

This was the first written constitution of the United States. It was the basis of the thirteen coloinist. -

It too was the turning point of the Revolutionary War. It was the military camp in southeastern Pennsylvania. -
Shay's Rebellion
It was a protest, by the American farmers, against the state and local enforcements of the tax collection. This also didn't have a day on it so I just put down 1 but the month and year should be correct. -
Constitution
The purpose of this was so that there were three branches, the legislative, executive, and a judicial. Another purpose for this is to divide the power of the federal government and the states. -
Constitutional Convention
The purpose of this was to replace the old one because it didn't work out so they needed one that did so they wrote a new one. -
Great Compromise
This is that the big states don't over voice their opinion because they have a bigger population while the small states has little to no saying at all because of their little population. -
Federalist Papers
This is a collection of articles and essays to promot the ratification of the United States Constitution. -
Whiskey Rebellion
Eveyone was making money off of whiskey so when the British put a tax on it the American Colonist were very mad and rebelled against it. There wasn't a specific day so I put the first but the month and the year should be correct.
