  • Early Education

    Charles Darwin was sent to Edinburgh University to study medicine in 1825, Charles Darwin learned a lot about science during his two years there. He learned about different types of chemistry and natural sciences, to include the chemistry of cooling rocks on the primitive Earth and how to classify plants by the modern “natural system.”
  • Later Education

    Charles Darwin realized that Medicine was not something he enjoyed, so in 1828 his father switched him to Cambridge University. Here he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1831. He was shown more about botany by the Reverend John Stevens Henslow
