First Fleet's Landing
Some would say that the First Fleet's landing was revolutionary and in this case, necessary to achieve the level of advancements by this age however it also burdened Australia. Australia being a "wild" country makes it more natural, clear, "old" you could say but when this new technology gave a nasty surprise to Australia, being left untouched for thousands of years, knocked the wildlife in the gut. Australia's wildlife is greatly impacted by this change. This changed the ecosystem of Australia. -

Australian federation is one of those amazing events that was, I guess, a win-win because the Aboriginals got recognition and a status as a person really, however, in my opinion they still do not get the respect they deserve but aside from that, this was also a great advancement for the English. Kevin Rudd's Sorry Speech
Kevin Rudd's sorry speech was an amazing speech reaching out to all Australians, saying sorry. This was a selfless act because even though he did not do anything that affected the stolen generations, he never took part in it, he never supported it however he still made this speech, apologizing for the past and giving an offer to work together in a new Australia, turning the page in history.
