Reason why we want to move to the America
My name is Hans Zimmerman and I am from Austria. And I am 24 years old and I have a wife, And we want to move to America, So we can have better land and also so we can raise a family in a safer place and so I can get a better job. ..But the problem is that we don’t lots of money so we can just go on a boat , and so they wouldn’t let us go because we aren’t meeting anyone there and we don’t have lots of money and we don’t have a very good skills. Going to America
So we had to find a way to sneak on a boat. So Me and my
wife got a raft and tied it to the boat and then when the boat stated to move we snuck up onto the boat .And kept quit.So then we got to America and it was a little different than what I thought it would be like. A man stole our stuff and all the money we had. 10 min. later I saw the same man in a wagon, and then he got out of it to get a drink. I Grabbed my wife and I said lets go, We got in the wagon a stole it. -
Finding a job
Me and my wife have been traveling to months, now I am trying to find a job. Then I stopped in town asking for work and a man named bill Said “ I can get you a job, that is if your good at planting crops. I said “yes when do I start!” Bill said "now" then I asked before I staterd " were do you get free land?" he said in the west."Theres going to be a race." -
About to travle to the west.
Me and my wife have been working for money for about a year now, so we decide to move to the west. And join the Westward movment.So we packet our bags. The we got in the wagon and left for the Westward Movment. -
In the westward movment
My wife and I are traveling in the Westward movement, and we sleep in a wagon and travle for about 12hours a day. It is miserable. And at night I haft to sleep with a gun so muggers wont steal our food or animals and even money. It is terrible. And there are many disease. Once I saw a little boy fall of his hourse dead because of all the diseases. I am tiered and wont to almost give up but my wife wont let me. -
Almost done
In 3 more days we will be there. And then we get 2 days to rest before the race starts to get land. But we have only one horse and one bull and only enof food left for 2 days.We haft to make it we cant give up i cept telling my self. 3 days past by and we made it and got food. The race is about to start we no were we are going to go. We are going to get our land. -
The end
Me and my Wife have made it this far, we are going to get our land. There were hunders and Thousands of people hear for the race.The race started and we went really fast but then I heard a cracking sound, I looked at the weel of the wagon it was going to brake and we cant stop the wagon or even slow down. So I told my wife to go on the hourse and get the land. She said "OK" she got on the hourse and then brake the wagon fliped a crashed crasheing other people to. My wife got the land but I died
