    The discovery of Australia was between 1606 to 1770. He trveled to Australia to extend the British Empire. They started a settelment in Australia which has made it what it is today.

    The free settlers were a group of Europeans who wanted to come to a new land for a better life. Some reasons thatb they wanted to come to Australia was because it was a new beautiful land and that England was very dirty and crowdered. The free settlers effected Australia because they forced the Indigeonous Australians away from there land.
  • Covicts

    Covicts were people who had stolen or done somthing bad and were caught. They were put in jail and then were sent to Australia to do work for the other people who were not convicts. They effected Australia by making new citys and forcing the Indigeonous Australians away from there land.
  • The First Fleet

    On 13 of May 1787, elevan ships with 1332 people left Great Briton and arrived in Australia on the 26 of January 1788.The voyage tock 8 months from England to Australia. A total of 736 convicts were aboard the boat and 23 died.

    The Indigionous Australilans were servirly effected by the Europeans who came to Australia. They were effected because they were forced away from there land and did not wont to do this. The Indigeones Australians were very angry that they had been on this land for thousands of years and were now being pushed of the land by people who had only just arrived.

    The Enlightenment was between the 17th and 18th centuary. It begain because people were starting to think in differant ways than befor and new discoveres were being made which was questioning people and there belifs.The Enlightment chaged Europe by giving people choices about what they could do it also the church lost power and it gave people there own chooses and opinions. In conclusion the enlightment was a great step for civilisation.

    By 1829 the settlers had discovered Swan River and 80km from there they formed a settlement called Pinjarra. The Binjareb tribe killed cattle, stole food and sometimes killed settlers. They did this because they did not want them on there land. The settlers were deciding to solve the problem with violence. The settlers were given millitary support. On the 25 of October they set of with 25 mounted soiders.

    In a few days they came across a camp of seventy aborigionals. The aborigionals had taken much more server losses and it had devistating effects.

    In 1830 Charles Sturt discovered the River Murry Mouth and by 1834 a settlement was formed there. In 1835 it was Wlliam Light who made the design of Adelaide. In that late year more settlers arrived in Adelaide. By 1841 it had become a large wine indistry and was an important starting point for exploring the rest of Australia.

    On the first of January 1901 Australia at all the six settlements they had a vote about wether they should become a sepreat nation. They voted yes and Australia became its own Nation. This was the begginig of the commonwealth of Australia.

    Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie Duchess of Hohenberg were killed on the 28th of June 1914, by Gavrilo Princip, a member of the Serbian group the Black Hand. This is what was said to have started world war 1.

    Great Britain declared war on Germany because if they lost Australia would become a German colony. This had many effects because Australia had to join the war because if Graet Britian lost Australia would be lost to Germany so Australia joined the war. Great Britian did not have any trouble convincing people to join the British Army.

    When Australia first entered world war 1 they would land at a plase now know as ANZAC Cove. This is were the ANZACs landed and had many of there troops killed befor they even reached the shore. They then climbed up the hill though Ottoman fire trying to take the land. They had fought at Gallipoli for 8 months befor the battle came to an end.
