    When Britain and Germany got into war, Canada was automatically in as well. Many Canadians believe this was the right thing to stand by Britains side. That they have had their pros of being Britains citizen and now here are the cons.

    Due to the lack of men because of the war, Canada was in need of workers. Women were told to step in and do the jobs a man would usually do.

    Due to the war Canada was going into dept fast. They turned to their citizen to help. Thats when they started the War Tax Act.

    Hospital ships were off limits for the Germans, but on the night of June 27 they attacked a ship with only 24 that survived and all 12 nurses dead.

    November 11 was the day WWI had finally ended.

    Since the war had ended, everyone was coming back to their normal lives. But since many were away due to the war, there was a lack in jobs for many people. Canadians weren't able to provide for their families.

    Due to the lack of jobs, Canadians were furious at germans who worked and had jobs in Canada. They demanded for them to not have jobs because they were from the opposite team.

    Modern teams were being created by this time, such as refrigerators and sewing machines. Making house wives work much easier and faster. Progress shown after a while of decline.

    This act excluded Chinese people from entering in Canada, and if they already lived in Canada they were limited to a two year visit.
