    Townshed Acts
    This was the act that made the colonists even madder for they just made an act to tax the colonists then proceeded to make another act to tax everything they get. This act was so all goods imported to the Americas and bought from Americans were taxed heavily.

    Boston Massacre
    There were already tensions between Britain and the US and then the Boston Massacre signified that the settlers were mad. This event happened because colonists were throwing snowballs and rocks at the guards so the guards started to shoot. The red coats killed 5 settlers including a freed slave merchant.

    On this day In 1773 100 American colonists dressed up as Native Americans, boarded 3 British ships, and dumped 342 boxes of tea. Which is worth 1.7 million in today's money. This was in response to the unfair amount of taxes imposed on the Americans.
