  • Time each flight took off.

    8:42am. Flight 93 takes off. United Airlines Flight 93, with 44 people on board including four hijackers, takes off from Newark international Airport bound from San Francisco.
  • Time each plane crashed and their location

    It had been scheduled to depart at 8:00 am, around the time of the other hijacked flight at 8:46 am. Mohammed Atta and the other hijackers aboard American Airlines Flight 11 crash the plane into floors 93-99 of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, causing for the people on the plane to die and also killing hundreds of people in the buildings.
  • Distress calls from planes

    During the attack, thanks to the phone calls people on the buildings had the chance to send out a message to their families before they died, and the ones on the planes had used the phone calls until they no longer were able to.
  • Collapse of the WTC1

    The collapse of the World Trade Center two of the four hijacked airliners crashed into the twin towers collapsed at 9:59 a.m and as a result of the collapse, it caused other buildings around the towers to get destroyed as well.
  • Collapse of the WTC 2

    As the first WTC 1 crashed the south tower at 9:59 am the second hijacked airliner minutes later crashed the North tower at 10:28 causing 2,763 people to die.
