    I was eight years old when my father, Robert Tebow, moved our family from the Philippenes to Jacksonville, Florida.

    The homeschool law in Florida was passed at this time. This would be important for me at a young age because I was homeschooled until I was a freshman. This law allowed homeschooled students to play sports for the public school that the district the student belonged to. I would use this law to my advantage all throughout middle school.

    I was offered scholarships by many different schools but it came down to my final two Florida and Alabama. After a long thought out process I decided to officaly sign to go to the University of Florida on a full atheletic scholarship.

    I finshed my career at Nease High School winning a state title in my senior year. I had a completion percentage of 64, threw for 31 touchdowns, a longest pass of 97 yards, and threw for 3302 yards on 216 completions out of 340 attempts. Rushing: I had a longest run of 70 yards, rushed 183 for 1163 yards, averaged 6.36 yards a run and rushed for 21 touchdowns. It was my most succesful year at Nease.

    I won Florida player of the year twice in high school at Nease after my Junior and Senior year. I was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American game along with the top 150 high school players in the country after my senior year.

    I was the backup quarterback my freshman year of college for the University of Florida, but lead the team in rushing and made the all SEC freshman team. We also, as a team, won the National Championship that year.

    In my sophmore year, I was named the Florida Gators starting quarterback for the 2007 season. I set numerous personal, school and national records in the 2007 season, including:
    University of Florida single-game quarterback rushing yards, 166.
    SEC season rushing touchdown record, 20
    Career high single game rushing touchdowns, 5
    SEC season total touchdowns 55 total
    This year I was named to the SEC First Team, a First Team All-American and was even in the running for the Heisman Trophy.

    My sophmore year I won the Heisman Trophy. It is given to the Nation's best college football player. I was the first sophmore to ever win the award. It is the most prestigious award I have won in my lifetime.

    In my junior season, our team was extremely succesful. I led us to a 12-1 record and the SEC championship. I was once again nominated for the Heisman Trophy that year. I did not end up winning it though, the winner was Sam Bradford of Oklahoma. We played him in the National Championship that year too. Although, this time he would not end up winning. The Florida Gators beat the Oklahoma Sooners 24-14 in the National Championship for the second National Title of my college career..

    My senior year we were not as succesful as a team as we normally were. But, I broke almost every Florida statistical record that year. At the end of my college career, I held 5 NCAA, 14 SEC, and 28 University of Florida statistical records. I graduated from the University of Florida in December 2009, with a bachelor's degree in family, youth and community sciences and with one of the best college career's in NCAA history.

    Before the start of the draft, many analysists doubted my throwing motion and I was expected to be a third round pick despite my success in college. I worked very hard with several different quarterback coaches and went to many different workouts and combines to change my throwing motion. I was hoping to become a more NFL ready quarterback and be a first round draft pick.

    The draft came up. I decided not to go to New York City and stayed home in Jacksonville with my family during the draft. I recieved a call from the Denver Broncos that night, that I was drafted 25th overall in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. It was one of the proudest moments in my life.

    My first year in the NFL I started the season as the backup Quarterback for the Denver Broncos. I made my first start on November 19th, 2010 against the Houston Texans. We lost 35-24 but I threw the first touchdown pass of my NFL career. I did not play much my rookie year. I started 4 games and had a record of 2-2.

    In the second year of my professional career, I had the oppurtunity to start the 7th game of the season against the Raiders. Our team was 1-5 heading into it. We lost 41-28 but, there was hope because it was a huge improvement from our first few games of the season. After that week, I was officaly named the starter for the rest of the year for the Denver Broncos. Tebow Mania had begun. I led our team to four 4th quarter combacks and we finished the season 9-7. We clinched a playoff spot.

    We played the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the Playoffs. We were 10 point underdogs. I made what was to be one of the most historical NFL playoff wins in history. We were tied at the end of regulation and we went into a sudden death overtime. We recieved the ball first. One play and we won.     After a great season with the Broncos, Peyton Manning signed with the us in the offseason and therefore I was traded to the New York Jets.
