And so it begins!
I told my daughter, Joclynn, that we were headed for my sisters house for the weekend. Little did she know I had planned a suprise trip to Salt Lake and tickets to a Tim Hawkins concert who she adored. -
Cousin time
After we arrived at my sisters house for the evening, Joclynn did as she always did and spent time with her younger cousin. -

Homework calls....or does it?
Midday on Saturday I told Joclynn we were going to have to cut our visit with my sister short because I had a ton of homework to catch up on. -
Lunchtime suprise!
Little did Joclynn know that I had headed east instead of west on the freeway and we were now in Utah. We stopped for lunch at a pizza parlor and I asked the waitress to "serve" Joclynn her ticket to the concert. -
What day is it?!
After Joclynn realized she had received a ticket for the concert, the wheels were a turnin and she was trying to figure out what day it was. -
The real Suprise!
As Joclynn read and thepeices started to fall together she realized that the concert was indeed a couple hours away and that we were indeed already in Utah.Suprise!! -
Waiting game
We arrived to the concert and anxiously waited for Tim to make his appearance on stage. The anticipation was killing Joclynn! -
and waiting.....
and what would a concert be if you did not have to wait just a bit more? -
The big Moment!
It was finally time and Tim Hawkins appeared on stage and so did a huge smile across Joclynn's face! -
Chik Filet
It wasn't just Chik Filet. Tim does a pardoy of Chik Filet and nothing could have been more appropriate than making an end of the night stop to the local Chik Filet!
