It has a sequel, supporting the fact that this has made a lot of money.

    A collab by Universal and Illumination has made one of the biggest and wealthiest movies of the 21st century. Spanning 2 sequels and 1 prequel, it has made over 546 million dollars in merchandising and tickets. It is also widely popular, winning 3 awards and the hearts of fans.
