in 1962, Kuhn published his most important work in "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions". This book revolutionized how scientific discovery was analyzed. Kuhn introduced the term "Paradigm", which meant a significant discovery where puzzles and questions are supplied for scientists to solve and understand. And paradigms lead to either advances in themselves, or the eventual overthrowing of itself, which leads to another paradigm change in understanding, therefore, a new revolution begins.
  • Conclusion

Kuhn continued professorships at multiple different prestigious institutes while also publishing works on the Philosophy of Science. His introduction of the phrase "paradigm shift" completely altered how we compartmentalize different "phases" of scientific discovery. He-in himself- created a paradigm shift of thinking in the philosophy of science, providing a new lens to look through for the analyzation of scientific revolution, he created the term for, and then became, a paradigm shift.

This is a brief video describing Kuhns meaning/ definition of the word paradigm, and how he used it to analyze scientific revolution. Then shows us how we still use this analysis today. [(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L70T4pQv7P8)]
