Prohibitted trade between the United States and all other countries in response England and France rejecting America's neutrality rights. -
The Banning of Slave Importation
Up until this point every state had abolished slave trade except for South Carolina. Idea originally brought up in 1806, passed in 1807, then went into effect in 1808.
