Thomas jefferson was the 4th president of the united states. Thomas Jefferson and John Adams where "competeing" for who should be president. This event happened on October 31st, 1800. This happened in the white house. This happened because both Thomas jefferson and John adams where both running for president. -
The Louisiana Purchase
Thomas Jefferson wanted to buy New Orleans from France. He ended up buying the entire Louisiana Territory France in 1802. The Louisiana territory is located in the modern day Central America, west of the Mississippi river. Jefferson doubled the size of the country by purchasing the Louisiana Territory. Jefferson had an idea that every white man should have the right to own his own farm/ property. With the newly acquired land, his dream became possible. -

The president that wrote the inaugural speech was President Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson wrote a speech just before he became the president of the United States. This all had happened on Wednesday March 4th, 1801. The place that this speech took place was at the Senate Chamber. Expedition of Lewis and Clark
Lewis and Clark set off on a voyage in search of volunteers. They were the first men that set off on the first American expedition. This had happened on May of 1804. Lewis and Clark started off in St. Louis to the Pacific Coast. The reason they had set off was in search for any volunteers for the US Army. -

The United States set an embargo act against the French and the United Kingdom. The embargo act was a general embargo enacts by the USA against France and the United Kingdom. This event happened in the year 1807. The place it took in or had happened was in the white house. It was a war against the French and the United Kingdom which was during the Napoleonic wars. -
War of 1812
The United States had a war between the United Kingdom and Ireland. There had been many disagreements about many things between them. The date it was on the year 1812. It took place between the American and Canadian frontier. The reason there was a war was because there where trade restrictions and American merchant sailors going into the royal navy and many other reasons for there to be a war. -
Indian Removal Act
President Andrew Jackson had negotiated with the Native Americans to have more land for the United States. President Jackson knew that by buying more land it would make the United States bigger. This negotiation had happened on May 28th, 1830. He negotiated with the Native Americans in Southern United States. President Andrew Jackson wanted more land for the United States.
