    Aristotle/ Ptolemy
Aristotle's theory (322 BC) was that the Earth was the center of the universe which had a sphere shape. Ptolemy's theory (165 AD) was that the universe revolved around Earth. Ptolemy he changed Aristotle's theory by explaining that the moon, stars and planets had their own spheres.
  • Newton's Theory

    Newton's Theory
Newton's theory was that gravity was all around the universe not only in earth. Using math Newton did not only explaine the movements of objects and planets but also using math he explained how gravity worked. He also came up with the law of inertia.
  • Cavendish

    Cavendish
Found the accurate value for the gravitational constant using Newton's math.
  • einstein's theory

    einstein's theory
Einstein's theory said that gravity isn't a force, but its a curve in space-time
