  • German invades Poland

    The Germans easily destroyed Poland, with a new tactic of war- Blitzkrieg. This attack was comnpleted in a month, and it was made easier as Russia were attacking the east side of poland. Germany made a pact with russia, so they shared polan (half each)

  • Germany invade France

    Hitler's fast pace Blitzkrieg attacks worked well again as they swiftly occupied France. 330000 ally troops managed to escape, but the nazis now had momentum, and the blitzkrieg was almost impossible to defend against.

  • germany invade Russia

    Hitler pumped 3million German troops into russia, which caused a war on three fronts for hitler- Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Africa. This broke the Nazi soviet pact. America provided resources for Russia which provided tension between Germany and the U.S.A. This sapped Germany's resources.

  • Japan launch attacks

    Japan launched a surprise attack on pearl harbour (on an american naval fleet) Ther Japanes captured 62000 British, Australian and Indian troops after capturing a british naval base in Singapore. Germany and Italy supported Japan in this. germany and Italy declared war on America to support Japan.
