    On September 10 1764, Moses, John, Nicholas, and Joseph Brown send the Sally slave ship to Africa to carry out a slave transaction. The ship is lead by unexperienced family freind, Esek Hopkins. Caption for image: This is an image of Esek Hopkins.

    On November 10 1764, captain Hopkins and the Sally arrive on the west coast of Africa, or what is now Guinea. Image caption: This is a map of where the ship approximately landed in today's standards.

    On the day of August 20, 1765, the last slaves were purchased by Captain Hopkins. In total,196 slaves were bought on the coast.     Rebellion on the Sally
    The seventh day at sea for the Sally, August 28, 1765, marked the first day the slaves were brought up on deck. In rage, the slaves attempted to craft an insurrection. Unfortunately, this did not work as planned. A swivel gun opened fire on the disobedient slaves, which led to the death of eight, and the injury of many more.     After the conclusion of the voyage on November 16, 1765, Captain Hopkins recieves a letter from the Brown brothers. He is informed that they are delighted that he has survived the harsh journey, but are terribly disappointed in the failed venture.
