Independence Given
Japan gave in, and decided that it was time to give the Democratic Republic of Vietnam its independence. -
The Cause of War
To begin, the French won WWII and they decide to go and take over Vietnam. Which in the end it does NOT go their way, because the Vietnam people decided to fight back. This begins the war between the French and the Viet Minh. -
Who helped Who?
The French needed help and asked the U.S to do. U.S said yes, and we sent them Military Aid. -
The U.S President Theory
during the time of the Cold War Era, and during the war of the Vietnam against the French, president Eisenhower came up with a theory that is well known to this day. He called it, "The Domino Theory." Which was basically the theory that if one domino fell, all of them fell, because they were all connected somehow. In his case, he was worried about the Communist, and them spreading. -
Who Won?
In this war, the French even after getting aid from the U.S, still gave in. They lost. Vietnam won. -
What happened in the End?
Due to the fight, a contact has to be signed, and Vietnam was divided into North and South. Not only separating families, but everything along with it, such as the riches. -

The Vietnam war was a fight that began, during the Cold War Era. This fight was located in Laos, Vietnam. -
The U.S Invovled
The U.S officially became involved in the year of 1963, after being involved behind scenes. They no longer were only providing aid, but actual men to fight in this war. -
Rresident Change, and Tactic
To begin, when the U.S officially became involved, we had a president change. Which, also then led to the fact that more men were sent to this war. 200,000 of them. -
The People
The Citizens of the U.S decide to protest against what the U.S policy is both years of 1966-1967. -
Peace Talk
The U.S and North Vietnam decide to meet up in Paris, to talk peace. -
Rage
Nixon's decides that he wants to be done with war, so he begins to take his soldier out of war. Which causes rage and bombing and other events occur because of it. -
Extended!?!
In the year of 1970, in April President Nixon decided to keep war going and makes it reach Cambodia. -
President Decision
President decided that he wants to drop out of war, because of too much pressure. -
Another Peace Treaty
After the president trying to decide to drop our of war, he decided to have another more secretive meeting to try and come up with an agreement to end war with Vietnam. -
1973- Peace Is Finally Here
After a long run fight, the U.S and Vietnam finally come to peace. -
