    President John F Kennedy sent over helicopters and over 400 green berets to south Vietnam and even authorizes secret operations held against the Viet Cong.
  • Protests against the war

    Americans begin taking to the streets in protest of the war, this was one of the largest public protests to date.
  • The end of the war

    NVA tanks rolled through the gates of the presidential palace officially ending the war after two years prior the countries involved had all signed a peace treaty which figuratively ended the war.
