This is important because troops are now allowed to come home to their families. Taking the number of deployed soliders down makes the United States seem less threatening and more political. -

This is important because there is finally a conclusion and the war is over. Ending this war saves more war efforts from being taking and saves the lives of the rest of the people. Incoccent people no longer have to die because of others decisions. -

This is important because the people who fought in the war have a place to be remembered. This allowed the United States to commemorate those who lost their lives and for families to mourn.
