The Universe
The Universe was created 13,7 billion years ago. -

The Big Bang
The Big Bang is the moment when the universe started to expand. -
Period: 100 to
The Universe it's expanding

101
Aristotle point of view
340 bC
He thought the universe’s centre was the Earth and all the planets, moons and the sun were rotating around it. -
105
Ptolomeo point of view
s. II aC
Ptolomeo found the path of the planets and their velocity; he showed that the positions of the planets could be calculated. -

Heliocentrism theory by NIcolas Copernicus
16th Century
This theory said that the Sun was near the center of the Universe and the planets rotated around it in circular paths modified by epicycles and at uniform speeds. -
Johannes Kepler
17th Century
Kepler improves Copernicus theory by saying that all planets move in ellipses, with the sun at one focus. -
Galileo Galilei Telescope
17th Century
He creates a telescope, becaming the first moder scientist, to observe the planets and took note about the different faces of Venus, an evidence that Venus orbits the sun. -
Gravity theory
17th Century
Isaac Newton explained the planets movement elaborating the Gravity theory (the attraction between bodies) -
Special Theory of Relativity
Albert Einstein published the Special theory of relativity in 1905. this theory talked about the link between time and space. -
EINSTEIN'S THEORY OF RELATIVITY
He thought about that new space-time like a fabric, waving together space and time. He created the theory, which modifies to include gravity in the effects of his fabric of space-time. He didn't believe gravity was a force at all; he said it was a distortion in the shape of space-time, otherwise known as "the fourth dimension". The problem of a static universe was that if you introduce mass, all that mass will flue gravity draw together. -
HUBBLE THEORY
He saw a nebulae that was much too distant to be part of the Milky Way and were, in fact, entire galaxies outside our own. This idea had been opposed by many. Hubble's findings fundamentally changed the scientific view of the universe. His idea of an expanding universe was true. -
LAMAITRE'S THEORY
He says that the universe was born. He said that the universe wasn’t static, but it was actually expanding and also that at the first time the universe was a primitive atom that exploited. -
BIG CRUNCH
It tells us that the Universe’s expansion, which is due to the Big Bang, will not continue forever. Instead, at a certain point in time, it will stop expanding and collapse into itself, pulling everything with it until it eventually turns into the biggest black hole ever. -
FRED HOYLE THEORY
The theory tried to explain how the universe could be eternal and essentially unchanging while still having the galaxies we observe moving away from each other. The theory hinged on the creation of matter between galaxies over time, so that even though galaxies get further apart, new ones that develop between them fill the space they leave. The resulting universe is in a "steady state". -
The Big Bang
Scientists believe that the Universe was initially so hot and dense, that even elementary particles like protons and neutrons could not exist. Instead, different types of matter collided together, creating pure energy. But as the Universe began to cod during the first few minutes, protons and neutrons began to form. Then slowly over time these protons, neutrons and electrons came together to form Hydrogen and small amounts of Helium. -
BIG BANG ECHO
In 1965 two astronomers discovered a radiation in the sky. This radiations demostrated that the Big Bang theory was true, the universe was expanding and started with a explosion -
INFLATION THEORY
The Inflation Theory proposes a period of extremely rapid expansion of the universe during its first few moments. -
BIG RIP
Most experts believe the amount of matter in the universe will cause the expansion of the universe to slow down and the universe may even contract once again to a single point, causing another Big Bang. But if there's enough dark energy in the universe, it could keep expanding indefinitely, leading to the Big Rip.
