This department is the treasury of the United States federal government, meaning it helps deal with the funding of this country. USDT is an executive department and was established to manage government revenue. Their role is to collect federal taxes, print currency and mint coins. The leader of this department is the Secretary of Treasury and the current Secretary of Treasury is Steven Mnuchin. -
Department of State
The Department State is the federal executive department that advises the President. Mike Pompeo is our current Secretary of State. This department focuses on implementing the foreign policies of the US, operating the nation's diplomatic missions abroad, negotiating treaties and agreements with foreign entities, and of course representing the United States. Before the Secretary of State, who leads this department, it is the Vice President and the Speaker of the House. -
Department of Justice
The Justice Department is a federal executive department for the US government. They are responsible for enforcement of law and administration of justice. It handles several federal law enforcement agencies including the FBI, the ATF, and the DEA. The leader of this department is the Attorney General who is currently William Barr. -
Department of Defense
The DOD is an executive branch department of the federal government. They are in charge of coordinating and supervising all agencies and functions of the government. This department is mainly concerned directly with national security and the United States Armed Forces. The DOD is the largest employer in the world and is lead by the Secretary of Defense who is currently Patrick Shanahan. -
Department of the Interior
The DOI is a federal executive department for the US government. This department manages and conserves most federal land and natural resources. They also are responsible for the administration of programs relating to Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, Native Hawaiians, territorial affairs, and insular areas of the US. The DOI is administered by the Secretary of the Interior which is David Bernhardt currently. -
Department of Agriculture
The Agriculture Department is a federal executive department of the US. This department's job is to develop and execute federal law that deals with farming, forestry, and food. Their focus is on farmers and ranchers, promoting agricultural trade and production, food safety, protecting natural resources, saving forests, and to end hunger. Their leader is Sonny Perdue who is the United States Secretary of Agriculture. -
Department of Labor
The DOL is a cabinet-level department of the federal government of the US. They are responsible for occupational safety, wage and hour standards, unemployment insurance benefits, reemployment services, and some economic statistics. This department's job is to foster, promote, and develop the wellbeing of the wage earners, and job seekers, improve working conditions, and advance opportunities for profitable employment. The current Secretary of Labor for Pennsylvania is Ed Hugler. -

The US Department of Commerce is a cabinet department for the United States government. This department promotes economic growth and is responsible for gathering economic and demographic data for business and government decision-making. The Commerce Department mainly creates jobs, encourages sustainable development, and improves standard living for Americans. The current Commerce Secretary is Wilbur Ross. -

The HHS is a cabinet- level department for the federal government of the US. The Health Department protects the health of Americans and provides essential human services. They have a motto which is "improving the health, safety, and well-being of America". This department is administered by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, who is currently Alex Azar. -
Department of Housing and Urban Development
The HUD is a cabinet department in the executive branch for the US federal government. It was part of the "Great Society" program of President Lyndon Johnson. This department develops and executes policies on housing and metropolises. The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is currently Ben Carson. -
Department of Transportation
The DOT is an executive cabinet department for the federal government of the US. This department deals with transportation. It was established by an act of Congress. The current Secretary of Transportation is Elaine Chao. -
Department of Energy
The DOE is a cabinet-level department for the federal US government. They are concerned with the US polices regarding energy and safety in handling nuclear material. They are responsible for the nation's nuclear weapons program, nuclear reactor production of the Navy, energy conservation, radio-active waste disposal, and domestic energy production. They are also involved in the Human Genome Project. The current Secretary of Energy is Rick Perry. -

The ED is a cabinet-level department for the federal government of the US. It was created after the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare was spilt up. Their annual budget is $68 billion. It is administered by the Secretary of Education, who is currently Betsy DeVos. -
Department of Veterans Affairs
The VA is a federal cabinet- level agency. This department provides healthcare services to eligible military veterans. This has been provided since the American Revolutionary War and the Veterans Administration was created later on. This department is led by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, who is currently Robert Wilkie. -
Department of Homeland Security
The DHS is a cabinet department for the federal US government. They are responsible for public security and it stated missions involving anti-terrorism, border security, cyber security, immigration, and disaster prevention. This the third largest cabinet. The Secretary of Homeland Security is currently Kevin McAleenan, which is who leads this department.
