Zeus dosen't invite Eris to the wedding, because she is a troublemaker. She comes anyways, she throws out an apple.In which is written "for the fairest". Which each of the godesses want. Zeus then throws the apple out of Olympus. Paris, wandering in Troy picks it up. The three godesses appear, and he must choose one. Aphrodite wins the contest and in exchange Paris is given the love of Helen who is the wife of King Menelaus brother of Agamemnon, which leads to the Trojan War. -

Odysseus, and Menelaus were sent as ambassadors to Priam, the last king of Troy and the son of Laomedon and Strymo. So he could give Helen and the stolen treasure back, Priam refused, and in that case Odessyus told the crew on the greek ships that war was bound to happen. -

In the first nine years, there were many wars between Troy and the neighbouring kingdoms. Greece then caught on that Triy was being supplied by the other reigons and were forced to take them down. Because the Greeks took down the neighbouring kingdoms they were supplied with all the resources and spoils for the next war. -

Helenus, son of Priam, had been captured by Odysseus. Helenus, a prophet, then tells Odysseus.that the war would not be won unless certain conditions were met. The greeks meet all the conditions. -

Trojan horse is built
Odysseus orders a wooden horse to be built so they can get into Troy. Inside the horse Odysseus and greek warriors climbed inside, They left a man behind to convince the trojans to take the horse in saying he had been deserted. That night, the greek warriors were let out by Sinon, the man who claimed he was left behind and they slaughtered the trojans, killed Priam and Cassandra was pulled from the statue of Athena and raped. -
