American soldiers and citizens being rounding up Cherokee people and begins to send them on the Trail of Tears. Some try to protest, but many are killed when trying to resist. -

The Great Drought that had happened over the summer ceased and more Natives were moved because there was more supplies to assist the journey. THis group was escorted by the Federal Gaurd. -

Chief Ross arives to be with his people at "Indian territory" in a Riverboat. He has all the information about the Cherokee ways and brings them with him. -
Settling Down
When finally the last group arrived at "Indian Territory" and spring arrived, people becan to lear land and plant crops and making it their home. -
Union of the Cherokees
To make things less complicated, Eastern and Western Cherokees combined forces and became one nation. -
The Creation of the Cherokee Constitution
Tahlequah was made the capital of the Cherokee nation and they adopted their own constitution to make "Indian Territory their new home.
