These broken treaties leads to the Japanese to attack the Russians at Port Arthur, Manchuria. With the russians having the reputation of losing a revolt formed with the unhappy people of russia.

    The people of Russia were extremely unhappy with there way of life that they crowded around the czar's palace to protest. They created a petition demanding better working conditions, more freedom, and elected national legislature. Nicholas the second commanded his guards to open fine on the crowds leaving 1,000's wounded and hundreds killed.

    The duma, Russia's first parliament, met in May of 1906. The leaders who were moderates, discussed their ideas of transforming Russia into a constitutional monarchy. not liking the idea of sharing his power, the Zar exterminated of the duma ten weeks later.

    The people of Russia were unhappy with shortages of bread and fuel so the women textile workers in Petrograd led a strike. Hundreds of thousands of workers ran about the streets, making it clear they disagreed with autocracy and war. First, soldiers shot at them, but ended up siding with them.

    Factory workers Armed themselves with weapons, them marched together to the Winter Palace in Petrograd. The Group of marchers banded together and came up with the name "Bolshevik red guards". The marchers defeated the guards and took control of the russian government.

Leon Trotsky leaded the Bolshevik Red Army Mations from the west sent military aids to White Army while had very little effect. 14 million died and Russia left in a chaotic state with the Red Army holding the victory.
