Backstory
When I was little I used to drink tons of pop. Like when I went to Grandma's house that is where I drink the most pop. -
More Backstory
In seventh grade was the time when I went pop crazy because my English teacher everytime we did well on something we would be rewarded with pop. Then so I earn at least several cans which was not good for me but I didn't care at the time. -
When I made the decision to not drink pop
I stop drinking pop when I realized that one of my friends didn't drink pop and he was doing great so I gave it a try to. So friends have a part in decision making which is also known in the book as "collabrative decision making ". -
Reason why I gave up pop
One reason why I gave up pop is because I wanted to get healthier in my beverage choices. -
Was it easy
I think it was a little hard at first because my youth group on Wednesdays serve pop and it is tempting to just take a soda but after a while it became more of a habit which is part of making decisions choosing to do something and sticking to it as the book says -
Assessing my decision
I think I made a good decision because my gut is feeling better than it did several years ago and I don't think I'll drink pop again
Assessing my decision is important so I can tell if I made a good decision as it says in the book. -
Interesting part
The thing that surprised me was that after I had went a while off giving up pop I don't even like the taste anymore kinda making my stomach feel not so good. A good alternative is water.
