The Texas Revolution

  • Battle of the Gonzales

    This was the first spark of the Texas Revolution, called the Battle of the Gonzales.
  • Siege of Bexar

    This was a siege where the Texian Army defeated Mexican Forces. This occurred at San Antonio De Bexar, and this was called the Siege of Bexar.
  • Battle of the Alamo

    A group of Texian Volunteers overwhelmed Mexican Forces and captured the Alamo Fort and which seized control of San Antonio.
  • Fall of the Alamo

    On the 13th day of the siege, Mexican forces were victorious in recapturing the fort, in which around 200 defenders of the Alamo died.
  • Goliad Massacre

    On March 27, 1836, Mexicans opened fire on the weaponless soldiers and executed 342 men.
  • Battle of San Jacinto

    The Texian Militia surprise attacked the Mexican forces who were under General Santa Anna and hundreds of Mexicans were taken as prisoners including Santa Anna himself.
