    The Texans and the Mexicans fought over a cannon. They did this so that way they can gain a weapon and use it to destroy armies. The people involved in this battle were the Mexicans and Texans. The date of this battle is October 9, 1835
  • The Siege of Bexar

    The people who were involved in this were the Texans and the Mexicans. They were led by Stephen Austin. The Seige of Bexar is an event that the Texans had heard rumors about tons of silver being carried in a mule train. When they opened the boxes, they only found grass. Because of this, the Texans took San Antonio. After the war against the Mexicans for San Antonio, most of the men went to go visit their families, which resulted in only around less than 100 men occupying San Antonio
  • March on San Antonio

    The March on San Antonio is an event where the Texans wanted to capture San Antonio. Because of this, The Texans had to choose a spot to camp. They choose a spot near the curving end of the San Antonio River. They choose this spot for food and water during the night. The Texans then won the war by shooting down the men in the Mexican army before they got the chance to shoot their cannons. This was important because the Texans had won a war against the Mexicans and lost less than 100 men.

    The Battle of the Alamo is a battle where the Mexicans with 4,000 people attacked the Texans with less than 200 people. The people involved in this event were the Mexicans and the Texans. The people who led these groups were James Fannin and Jose De Urrea. The battle took 13 days to end. In 1833, General Santa Anna from Mexico was elected president of Mexico.     The letter William Travis sent was very important. This was important because it alerted the Texans that the Mexicans were creating an army to destroy the Texans. This included the people of William Travis, The Texans, and the Mexicans. This was important because it was an important part of Texas History. Also, it led the way to create an army to gain independence from Mexico, and that way they do not die from the Mexican army when the attacked the Texans.

    This event is where people were shot and killed. The people who were involved in this event were the Texans, James Fannin, and the Mexicans. When the Texans heard this news, they were mad and wanted revenge against the Mexicans for killing them. This also led the Texans to gain independence. This was important because it was one of the reasons the Texans wanted to be independent from Mexico and it reign of ruling over Texas.
