It halved the duty on foreign - made molasses.
It placed duties on certian imports.
It strengthend the enforcement of the law allowinig prosecutors to try smuggling cases in a vice- admiralty court rather than in a more sympathetic colonial court. -
Stamp Act
Law in which parliament established the first direct taxation of goods and services within the British colonies. -
Townshend Acts
a series of laws enacted by Parliament. Indirct taxes on goods imported from British by the Brisitsh colonies. -
Boston Massacre
a clash between British soliders and Boston coloniests. in which 5 coloniest were killed -
Boston Tea Party
The dumping of 18,000 pounds of tea into Boston Harbor by colonist to protest the Tea Act. -
Intolerable Acts
A series of laws enacted by Parliament to punish Massachusetts colonists for the Boston Tea Party. -
The Battles of Lexington and Concord
planned a secret expedition to seize or destroy the small town of Concord. They found out about the plan & were on high alert. Paul Revere road into town and warned the town that they were coming.
