    The Space Race ended with a U.S victory, by Neil Armstrong being the first person to walk on the Moon. Sadly, John F. Kennedy was assassinated though by a gunshot.

    Soviet Cosmonauts launched their first dogs into space. They thought they would be a good fit because Moscow dogs are very obedient. Then later, the American Astronauts launched their first monkeys into space and they were smarter than they thought.

    On April 12, 1961 Yuri Gargarin, started a tradition in which he asked a bus driver to stop on the route to the Launchpad, and urinated on the Right had tyre of the bus. This became a tradition for all Astronauts.
