Circe told oddyseues that he had to pass the siren to get back to Ithaca. She told them that their song make men commit suicide. And once you hear the song you can fight the temptation.She told Odysseus and his men to put wax in their ear so they won’t hear their song. She told Odysseus that if he wants to hear the siren he had to be tied up. She knew that Odysseus would want to hear the song because he would think he could survive the Sirens.Oddyseus put his men in danger with his pride.
