Fort Oswego
The French were winning forts leaded by General Montcalm. Then General Montcalm took Fort Oswego. 50-80 British were killed and the French took 1700 prisoners and 30 French people died. -
Ohio Valley
The French had Big trading post but the British had more land in Ohio Valley. The British moved most of their settlements to the Ohio Valley so It caused tension. -
Takes fort william
When the French attack Fort William Henry in 1757 the attack was led by General Montcalm. The fort was located south east of George Lake. After many days of fighting the British surrendered to the French because they had 2000 Indians form different tribes. In the major battle Montcalm's army killed over 1500 men. Apparently less than 200 were killed in the after mass which is less than ten percent. -
Attack on the town of the German Flats
The French was winning Resulted of taking livestock, crops, barns, and building. Also a lot of prisoners were taken.This affected the war because they took resources from army's and without any resources the British would be vulnerable. -
Siege of Louisburg
14000 British with the largest navy to ever set sail in from England. The French delayed them for 2 months then they surrendered. -
Battle for Lake Champlain and Fort Carrillon
The British had 16000 Troops on Lac Champlain ready to attack Fort Carrilon -
River of Fire
French load boats with gun powder and explosives and float them out to try and catch the British fleet on fire, but the boats miss and the and the British escape unharmed. -
Plains of Abraham
In the night Wolfe send troops up the cliffs as a sneak attack on Quebec city. In the morning there are 4000 British on the Plain. Montcalm sends 5000 troops from Beaupre. Wolfe wins but dies in glory while Montcalm dies in shame. -
Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris ended the 7 years wars. The French gave up there land in the main land of North America so there would be no foreign fights.
