Czar Nicholas II Crowned King
NIcholas is crowned czar of Russia and is now in complete comtrol. For now. -
Russo Japanese War
The war started when the Japanese attacked Port Arthur. The Russians also wated a war but technically Japan fired the first shot. -
Bloody Sunday
Bloody Sunday occured when demonstrators were at the palace gates and the King ordered the soldiers to fire upon them. The government recorded less than one hundred deaths but rumors were spread that there were thousands. -
The Revolution of 1905
It started because of bloody sunday. The revolution lasted 2.5 years and ended on July 16th 1907. -
March Revolution
30,000 workers go on strike. The soldiers mutinied. -
October Revolution
The bolshevics overthrew the provisional government and replaced it with a communist government. -
Russian Civil War Begins
The bolshevics are taking over Russia. The anti-bolshevics, collectively known as the whites, fought against them. -
The Treaty of Brest Litovsk
Signed by the boshevic party, this ended Russia's participation in WWI and gave Germany a large portion of their land in the east. -
Russian Civil War Ends
The Bolshevic party won the civil war agianst the whites making Russia an entirely Communist government and country. -
USSR Formed
The united soviet socialist republics is formed. aka the soviet union.
