    Czar Alexander II frees the Serfs', Serfs' could now own their own land, and sell their own crops, instead of working for land owners.

    After the death of Nicholas I, his son goes into power. He was Russias last Czar. He was a strong family man, and associated with the mystical rasputin.

    The Social-Democratic Labor Party splits in two groups Mensheviks and Belsheviks
    Bolsheviks was lead by Lenin and Trotsky. During the Bolsheviks Revolution they were called the "Red Army". The Bolsheviks overthrow the governent. During the Revolution only 10 people were killed.

    Began when Japan attacked Port Arthur. Japan won a series of of battles against Russia. Russia underestimated the military power that Japan had.Russian troops were defeated.

    Nicholas II sent out his personal gaurds to keep people that were protesting outside. When they got outside they turned on Nicholas and joined the protestors. The gaurds and the protestors attacked and shot the building.

    Russia Joined WWI in 1914 when Germany Declared war against them. Germany was taking on many many countries at the time, so naturally they did not hae enough soldiers to right against the huge country of Russia. Russia won.

    Supported by 90,000 protestors, they were all of strike, they clashed with police, they refused to leave the streets. They destroyed police stations, and factories to get attention.

    Nicholas II gives up the throne after he sent out his gaurds to keep the protestors away from his house, but those gaurds turned on Nicholas and joined the protestors then shot at the building until Nicholas gave up the throne.

    While posing for a family picture a gaurd comes in and shoots them all. At first he shoots Nicholas then he turns for the girls, but the girls were wearing their special corsets. These corsets were made with all of the families diamonds, so the bullets bounced off the diamonds.

    To become the leader Alecander sais that he will increase food production to make the preasants happy. The Government takes less of the peasents crops, so that the peaseants could sell their surplus for a profit.

    Vladimir Lenin dies of a series of strokes, January 1924 he died at the age of 54. Millions have visited Lenin's tomb in Moscow, thousands stood in -40 degree weather for the funeral.
