Gregory Apollonovich, a radical priest, was led by workers t othe czar's winter palace. The demonstrators were shot at, killing many of them. Because of this, Nicholas II promised reforms. -

March Revolution
Workers went on strike, riots broke out, and many people died. This was because the people of Russia were mad about WWI, the cold, and lack of food. -
Czar Nicholas II abdicates the Russian throne
He wasn't ready to rule, for he wan't taught. This didn't help the fact that Russia was in a time where change was necessary. He was forcefully abdicated from the throne when reforms were demanded. He and his family were later murdered. -

Creation of the U.S.S.R
Established from Russia, Belarussia, Ukraine, Trancaucasian Federation. It was a new communist state and the first country to be based on Marxist socialism. -
Vladimir Lenin's Death
Vladimir Lenin died of a brain hemmorhage at age 54. Joseoh Stalin was his successor.
