  • Founding of Rome Part 1

“Founding of Rome” explains the legend of Romulus and Remus and told us how Rome came to be. The story began when there was a princess. She was married to Mars(The God of War). The king forbade her to have children because they predicted that something bad would happen. Then she had two children named Romulus and Remus. The Gods were very mad at her.

  • Founding of Rome Part 2

Then the princess put them into a basket and put them into the Tiber River. Later the she-wolf then adopted Romulus and Remus and feed them. After that the she-wolf was killed and a shepherd adopted Romulus and Remus. When Romulus and Remus grew older, they decided to build a city on the Tiber River. They then went on top of the hill to watch out for a sign from God. Then a sign came to the Palatine hill where Romulus stood there.
  • Founding of Rome Part3

Romulus and Remus then fought each other, and Romulus killed his brother. He then became a king of the city, and name the city Rome. Now today we can still see the symbol of the Romulus and Remus and the she-wolf all around the city of Rome.. We can infer that the she-wolf and the two brothers were very important to this city. When we go around Rome, we can see a statue of a she-wolf feeding her children.
  • The Etruscan

“The Etruscans” explains who were they, and also explains about daily life, and religious belief, and the important of tombs. The Etruscan lived in the norther part of Italy. They lived near the Tuscany religion. From what they left behind, historian believed that they came from Asian Minor(Turkey).
  • The Etruscan dialy life

heir daily life was similar to the historical people. Just like the Greek they harvested the crop and built thing. The Etruscans dug tunnel and built dams to drain their field. The activity that they did the most is growing crops. They used iron tools to grow crops. They dug gold cooper, iron and other minerals. They liked to play sport and also dancing. They were not like the Greek because the women could do the thing that men could too.
  • The Etruscan religious belief

Their religious belief were like the Greek because they believed in many God. The Etruscans city was ruled by different God. The soothsayer could predict the future by reading the omens. The soothsayer decided the boundaries of the city and where it should be.
  • The Etruscan Tombs of Gold+inference

When people died, they were buried in a catacomb. People lied in the center of the catacombs. A lot of catacombs became necropolis. From this I can infer that they must have been very rich because they duh gold, iron and other minerals. Also I infer that they the women had the equal right as men because they could do the thing that the men can do. Furthermore I think that they Etruscans copied almost everything from the Greek like religious belief.
  • Etruscan and Roman Part1

“Etruscans and Romans” tells how the Etruscans and Romans connect, and the correlation between them. The Etruscans had made so many contributions to the Roman civilization. The Etruscan taught the Romans a lot of things like religious belief, architectures, sport, and languages. The Etruscans taught the Roman how to build the arch and used it on a bridge. The Etruscans copied the Greek alphabets, but then the Romans copied the alphabets from the Etruscans. They had the same event in sport.
  • The Etruscan RomanPart 2

The Etruscans, had a slave flight when a noble died. On the opposite the Romans had a gladiators fight. The gladiators fight was an event where 2 people fight each other or fight an animal. The Etruscan gave a famous symbol to the Romans. The famous symbol was the fasces sigh. It was an axe which symbolize power. The Etruscan had some religion tradition in common. The Romans also read the omens to predicted the boundaries of their city.
  • The Etruscan and Romans inference

From this I can infer that the Romans and the Etruscan were very friendly to each other. I think that maybe because they were trading that’s why they helped each other. I think that the Etruscans showed the Romans how to do thing.
