    Raid on Harpers Ferry
    In 1859 a strong abolitionist named John Brown and his sons invaded harpers ferry. He was attempting to start a slave rebellion. However no slaves came to help and Brown and his sons were overwhelmed by the U.S Marines. Brown was sentenced to death for treason.
