  • The French and Indian War

    The French and Indian War
    The French and Indian war was also known as the seven years war, it lasted from 1756 to 1763. After a number of men headed to the Ohio region to get them to withdraw from the territory but was rejected. After a year and a half of undeclared war, the French and English formally declared war in May. Later exhausted and outnumbered the French collapsed and the British took power.

    Proclamation of 1763
    British King George III issued the Proclamation after Great Britin's defeat of the French territory, The Proclamation was designed to claim fears of the native Indians by stopping westward expansion. The border ran West of the Application Mountains and South of the Hudson Bay to Florida. Which was important because the British gained additional revenue
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party was a politcal protest. Massacutes residents were against the British Praliment, the stamp act, and the 1767 townshend Acts. On the night before the tea was due to be landed, the sons of liberty: a group of Boston residents, snuck on the ships and threw all the tea into the harbor. Then, shortly after cleaned and swept the boats.

    The Sugar Act
    The British Parliament revised duties on sugar, coffee,tea, wine and other imports. They also expaned jurisdiction of the vice-admirarity courts. The colonists protested several assembiles on taxition for revenue.

    British Parliment passed the act that any colonists in the area had to supply british troops with housing, candals, firwood, and in some cases food. This caused many of the colonists to protest in assembiles
  • The Stamp Act

    The stamp Act was isuued thatall printed documents like deeds, newspapers and mariiage licnses were issued only on special stamped paper. Which had to be bought from stamp distibutors. After this act was issued many riots broke out and collectors were forced to resign, the stamp act was the repealed in MArch 1766.

    New duties issued that lead, paper, paints must be custom collection tightened in American. Which caused a non-importantation of British goods, prtest, and an attack on the British Polociy
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    Monday of March 5, 1770, tensions arose in Boston after Edward Gerrish accosted on an officer in King-street due to his master. After being pelted with snowballs police stepped in and fird into a crowd of civilans. Kiliing 5 American citizns. John Adams later qouted "the foundation of America was laid after that night,"

    The Intolerable Acts was a list of laws passed by the British Parliament in 774. The Intolerable acts included the Quartering acts, Massacutes government act and the Boston Port Act. The british psssed the laws in response oF the Boston tea party.

     The Battles Lexington and Concord
    The Battles of Lexington and Concord were fought on April 19, 1775, within the towns of Lexington and Concord.they first fought at Lexington, after the colonists won they them marched to Concord to complete their tasks. This battle was also known for the shot heard around the world with was known to start the revolution.
