End of the war
At the end of the French and Indian war the British and French made an agreement. Mainly to stop conflict between the countries and they fought for 7 years straight. This agreement was called The Treaty of Paris. Both countries faced huge debts because war was very and still is very expensive. Many great people and leader died. Even though the British won the war and conquered Ohio River Valley this had to stop and that why the Treaty of Paris came along to prevent them fighting. -

Pontiac's Rebellion

Proclaimation line of 1763
After the long lasting war Britain finally conquered Ohio River Valley. England purpose to conquer Ohio River Valley was to grow cotton, indigo, rice and tobacco. -
Sugar Act
Tax on importing sugar, coffee and wine. -
Stamp Act
This act was the first direct tax act. All illegal documents, newspaper, playing cards, dices, and all other printed material. -
Quatering Act
The colonies colonists had to provide British troops and living quarters, bedding, food, beer, cider, and rum. -
Virginia Resolves

Stamp Act Congress
The Stamp Act Congress was a major step in uniting the colonies against the British. Nine colonial delegations agreed to there should be "no taxation with out representation" quoted by James Otis Jr. -
Repeal of Stamp Act
Under strong pressure from the the colonies, and with their economy slumping because of American boycott of British goods, This damaged the relationship between the Colonies and England was already done. -

Charles Townshend act was made to still tax people on something and in this case, glass , paper, paint and tea. Colonists boycotts of all British goods.

Boston Massacre
Five colonists were killed by the British Redcoats. The British group was afraid of the colonists as they were following them. The British fired and killed colonists because they were threatening them and had weapons. The colonists called this a massacre because they wanted the British to look bad and make the this attack sound worse then it actually was. Add more later.
