    The Townshend Acts were different taxes put on goods imported to the American colonies. Taxes were put on glass, lead, paint, etc. These taxes were enforced to fund the administration of the British colonies in America.

    The Boston Massacre was a violent riot that killed many people. Mobs attacked British soldiers because of all of the acts taking place. The colonists didn't want any more raised taxes so they started an argument which led into this event.

    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest started by American colonists. Colonists were frustrated with imposing taxes so they dumped 342 chests of tea into the harbor. They did this to speak out against the tea tax which was taxation without representation.
